Wine Balsamic Reduction

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 C red wine
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 shallots, minced
  • 3 T butter
PREPARATION
  1. Prepare in same pan if one was used to sear meat or fish.
  2. Deglaze pan with wine, shallots and vinegar.
  3. Reduce to about one third.
  4. Add 3 T butter, serve warm.
