Clams

In White Wine

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves -sliced
  • 2½ lbs Clams
  • 1 C white wine
  • Pepper
  • Salt
  • 2 T chopped cilantro
  • 1 T lemon juice
PREPARATION
  1. Heat oil in sauce pan with tight fitting lid.
  2. Sauté garlic in hot oil 1 min.
  3. Add clams, wine, pepper, salt.
  4. Cover and cook until clams open (about 5-10 min).
  5. Add lemon juice and cilantro.
  6. Strain sauce.
  7. Serve clams with sauce for dipping.
